Current privacy posture

LLM API Prices requires no account and no model-provider API key. Calculator inputs stay in the browser and are not submitted to the site. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and aggregate usage, while the production host or CDN may process ordinary request metadata needed to serve and secure the website.

What information does the site process?

The calculator runs in the browser. Token amounts, cache percentage, selected model, selected channel, and monthly run count are used locally to calculate an estimate. The current site does not create an account, store these calculator inputs in a database, request model-provider credentials, or receive the prompts and responses sent through your own API integrations.

The site uses Google Analytics 4 through Google’s gtag.js measurement tag. It may receive page-view, browser, device, approximate location, referral, and interaction data used to understand aggregate traffic and site usage. The current implementation does not send calculator prompts, API keys, or workload values as custom analytics events.

Like most websites, the hosting provider, content delivery network, or security service may automatically process technical request information. This can include IP address, approximate network location, browser and device type, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, response status, and security signals. The exact production host has not yet been connected; this policy should be reviewed against that provider’s settings before launch.

If you email the contact address, the message may include your email address, name, organization, message content, attachments, and technical details you choose to provide. Do not send API keys, passwords, private prompts, customer data, or confidential billing records.

How may information be used?

Technical request information may be used to deliver pages and data files, maintain availability, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, and understand aggregate site operation. Google Analytics data may be used to measure page popularity, referral sources, device patterns, and broad site performance. Contact messages may be used to answer questions, verify corrections, maintain the catalog, investigate a reported problem, and keep a limited record of the decision.

LLM API Prices does not sell personal information and does not use calculator inputs to create advertising profiles or train an AI model. Google Analytics is configured for measurement, not advertising campaigns on this site. Any future analytics, advertising, account, saved-workload, or other data-collecting feature should trigger a review of this policy and any required consent controls.

Does the site use cookies or analytics?

The site includes Google Analytics 4 through a third-party script. Google Analytics may set or read analytics cookies and use similar technologies to distinguish visits and measure usage, depending on browser settings and Google’s current implementation. The site does not currently configure advertising personalization or remarketing features. Essential infrastructure may also use short-lived security or load-balancing mechanisms depending on the production host.

A browser may retain ordinary cache files or local preferences as part of its normal operation. Clearing browser data is controlled through your browser. The current calculator does not require local storage to provide its core result.

When can information be shared?

Information may be processed by service providers needed to host, deliver, secure, or maintain the website and email. These providers act under their own terms and privacy notices. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the site, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer.

The site links to provider documentation, OpenRouter, and other external pages. Following an external link sends a request to that site, which may receive the usual request metadata and apply its own privacy policy. LLM API Prices does not control external websites.

How long is information retained?

LLM API Prices does not intentionally retain browser calculator inputs. Hosting and security logs may be retained for the period configured by the production provider. Contact messages and correction evidence may be kept as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, preserve an audit trail, prevent repeated abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Retention settings should be minimized when production hosting and email are configured. Backups may retain deleted information temporarily until they rotate out under the applicable service schedule.

What choices do users have?

You can use the pricing tables and calculator without creating an account. You can block or clear cookies through your browser, use browser privacy controls or an analytics blocker, avoid following external links, and choose not to send email. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information held through contact communications.

Send a privacy request to [email protected]. The site may need enough information to identify the relevant message and confirm that the request comes from the appropriate person. Do not send identity documents unless they are specifically required and a secure method has been agreed.

Is the site intended for children?

The site is intended for developers and others researching API pricing, not for children. It does not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the contact channel, report it so the information can be reviewed and removed when appropriate.

How will policy changes be communicated?

This policy may be updated when hosting, analytics, advertising, account, payment, or data-storage practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and material changes should be published before the affected feature is enabled where practicable.

Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
